I'm hosting a site created by another developer which hasn't been updated in months. Today the client has noticed some missing images and URLs not working - seemingly all files with an ampersand (&) in them. The URLs give a 'page not found' even though they do exist and the browser doesn't load images with '&' in them.

I can go through and remove them (and advise the developer not to use odd characters in filenames!) but have there been any changes on the server that would explain this happening? As I say - the files haven't been changed in ages so I can't think what else it would be.

One affected site is on Beryllium and another is on Fluorine.

UPDATE: just tried uploading a file called test&test.htm to 8 different non-RFH servers and it worked on 7 of them, so I presume it must be a server setting.
