    Default HSBC ePayment Integration

    Hi,

I am going to try and set up HSBC's ePayment system on my site in the next week or so. The site is for a conference and we want to take payment online straight to our bank (HSBC). I've jut moved to Red Fox after our last hosting company proved unable to meet the requirements for this system. All it needs is SSL and the ability to run scripts on the server as long as your server is HPUX, Windows or Sun Solaris. I now have all the documentation from HSBC and am ready to go.

Anyway, my question is ... Warren said in an email before I signed up that the 'HSBC Payment object is installed across shared hosting servers' .... can someone elaborate on this? Does anyone have experience of integrating HSBC's ePayment system in their site?

    Cheers
    Mike

ah OK, but can you clarify what exactly is it that's installed?

I need to put hashing programs on my site to encrypt user info before sending to HSBC .. perhaps it is these that are installed? HSBC supply the files needed so I'm not sure what you mean about stuff already being installed.

    Cheers

yes, that makes sense ... you mean you have registered the CcCpiCOM.dll file yes?

There's a config file with this inside:
"Ensure the CcCpiCOM.dll file is registered, and CcCpiTools.dll is in your PATH"

Do I need to do anything special to use asp pages? ... I've always done stuff in php you see!

The instructions with HSBC Integration pack are very bad indeed, I will see if I get anything to work ... I've already spotted several errors in their code!

    Cheers
