Default What´s happening to Secure Folders

    HI,

I´m having trouble with secure folders. I secured a folder for my oscommerce store, it was workin all fine, I was in the admin section, the login box promted out asking me for the username and password, again. But this time did not loged in.

I open the secure folder with my FTP and opened the file .htaccess. Al the usernames are there, including passwords, which I don´t know if they are encripted, or what?
I see passwords like: "ebf7NI4BpIGIs" or "yr9ne. Iori"

What was the problem? everything was working fine.

Username:encrypted password pairs should be in the .htpasswd file in the secure folder above your webspace.

The .htaccess file should just contain Auth stuff and the require group/require user with a list of groups/users.

You shouldn't see passwords like: "ebf7NI4BpIGIs" or "yr9ne. Iori" in the .htaccess file.
