Default Domain Alias for a Sub Domain

    Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if it is possible to attach a domain alias to a sub-domain? I thought that I had seen this question already on this forum, but couldn't find it again.

    Thanks!

    Chris

    Hello Chris,
I dont think I understand what you are trying to do?

    sub.alias.com point to sub.domain.com?

    Hi Warren,

I am trying to get a domain (www.newdomain.co.uk) to point towards a sub domain (sub.existingdomain.co.uk) so that it will appear as a sub domain of my existing site, but also as a completely seperate site. I hope that makes a bit more sence. It's been a bit hectic today!

I don't really want to put a forwarder on the new domain because search engines wouldn't be able to index it.

    Regards,

    Chris

    Hello Chris,
Unfortunatly, this cant be done, unless you remove sub.domain.com and add it as a new FULL and individual domain. In this case, you would be able to add the alias under the newly added (sub) domain.
