ASP.NET book

can anyone recommend a good ASP.NET book with nice walk through code examples, and - most importantly - a decent reference guide thrown in the back? - using VB.NET

asp.net unleased, 2nd edition, by Sams Publishing

This is by far the most amazing book I have ever used for any langugage

- eveything covered, even XML, XMLST, ADO.net

- step by step vb.net code examples for everything e.g. how to make a drop down list, how to bind to an array, how to bind to dataset, how change the looks

- c# code version of book is on CD, togther will fles for all code examples and 2 sample applications ( a job site and some thing else, i forgot)

Really simple, straight forward to use

that's the book i ended up getting - solves all my problems, and where it leaves me hanging it gives me a general idea of what to google.

ps - i don't recommended buying those cheap radio controlled planes, pigs fly better.

I have one; It has a parachute because the battery only lasts 3 minutes :p

aye. Trust me, asp.net unleasehed is the only book youll ever want. I just resold mine for the 2.0 edition.
