Create temporary URL

Hi,

Was with a previous host before moving to red fox. They also used the HELM control panel. On their system there was a option to create a temorary URL for your site which I found really useful if you were setting up a new site or working on a new version of the site, also if you were moving a site to redfox you could use the temporary url for testing until the DNS server details had propigated which was very handy.

Hello There,
Your previous host probably use our Helm Extensions product (http://www.redfoxaddons.com/products/helmextensions/) however you can still do this:

1) Create a domain alias on your domain in Helm of yourdomain.com.dnsupdate.net.

2) Access your website at http://yourdomain.com.dnsupdate.net

Why not just create a subdomain and use that? thats what i do when working on a new version of my website... Also Johnny, if you're already a customer take a look at this thread .
