    Default CMS vs Wiki

    Hello

I was just wondering what the advantages of CMS vs Wiki were

I'm considering revamping one of my websites though the website is for 60-80 year olds as it's for a local music club, though I was going to allow the chairman to post reviews of the concerts - just wondered which would be easier in terms of ease of use

    Thanks

    Andrew

I'd go for CMS personally. Why...

    - A wiki is chaotic. You need thorough organisation really for a "web site".
    - A wiki is prone to casual edits rather than a review, approve process.
    - A wiki has a big learning curve. A CMS doesn't as it fulfils its requirement and does nothing more.

Snag a copy of Information Architecture from O'Reilly. Lots of interesting information in there which will sway you appropriately.
