Default How to set up a temporary url?

I signed up for hosting yesterday and am planning to move my domain tomorrow. Before I do that I'd like to be able to FTP to the server to upload the files. Now the problem is that I can't get to my FTP because the domain is still pointing to my old host. One of the e-mails said that I could enable the "Temporary URL" feature in Helm, but I can't find it :o. Can anyone point me to that feature?

    Hi Rob,

You need to set up a domain alias to do this.

    This thread should help: http://forums.redfoxuk.com/showthread.php?t=221

Could someone verify if I've done it right? What I've done:

The site is registered with piratehideout.net. I created an alias piratehideout.com pointing to piratehideout.net. With NetworkSolutions (the registrar) I set the DNS servers for BOTH these domains to Red Fox Hosting.

The reason I'm asking this is that .net worked immediately but .com not yet. Could be the DNS update, but it seems odd that the .net would work immediately.

    All seems fine here:

    http://dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport...atehideout.net

Sites are loading fine too, at both domains - could be your computer or ISP DNS cache?
