Red Fox UK Community Forum Rules - ALL MUST READ!

The Red Fox UK Community Forums have grown tremendously over the last year and we would like to thank every member of the growing community for joining us.

In order to keep the forums running without problems, please follow these simple rules. If you have any questions of problems, please feel free to contact one of the Staff Members.

General Rules

• While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
• Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts.
• Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
• Thread titles should be descriptive and appropriate, thread titles such as "Help Me", "MySQL Problem" or "PHP Error" will not be accepted.
• Advertising, spamming, trolling and flaming is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and private message system to spam other community forum members.
• We also do not allow posts that violate Red Fox UK Community standards. The Red Fox UK staff and forum moderation team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
• Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
• Each community forum member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
• While we are quite happy to have constructive comparative conversations about competitor's product(s) and/or service(s), we will not tolerate blatant advertisements. Also, we would appreciate it if you refrain from blatant bashing of competitor companies and their product(s) and/or service(s).
• We reserve the right to remove any threads/posts without notice.
• While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure the community is not disrupted or abused in any way.
• You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be deleted.
• All adult/sexual/explicit content in posts must be surrounded in the ADULT vbCode tag.
• We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the community forum rules.

Advertising Services
We do not allow community forum members to post, send private messages or email other community forum members that advertise or solicit any product(s) and/or service(s). Explicit advertising and soliciting in signatures is also prohibited. The only exception is in the "For Sale, Sites and Services" forum, provided it is not a product or service that competes with any product or service offered by Red Fox UK and it is not an affiliate program link for Red Fox UK or any other affiliate program.

Links in Signatures
Links in signatures must follow these guidelines:

• Linking to a commercial product or service is fine, provided it is not a product or service that competes with any product or service offered by Red Fox UK and it is not an affiliate program link for Red Fox UK or any other affiliate program.
• Promotional text for a commercial product or service is ok, provided there are no price(s) of product(s) and/or service(s) listed.
• A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site does not violate Red Fox UK community standards. The Red Fox UK staff and forum moderation team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
• Duplicate links to the same URL in a signature are not allowed.

Signature Size Limits
All signatures should not exceed the following size limits:

• For text signatures: 4 lines normal size, 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line (includes blank lines). Font sizes above 2 are not allowed.
• Do not use images with large text to bypass the previous item.
• For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and no more 20k in size.

Avatars and Profile Pictures
We also do not allow avatars and profile pictures that are sexual in nature or violate Red Fox UK Community standards. The Red Fox UK staff and forum moderation team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

Affiliate Programs
The Red Fox UK affiliate programs are designed to allow people to advertise Red Fox UK product(s) and/or service(s) on their web site and earn a commission on all sales generated through that link. You are not allowed to post your affiliate link anywhere on the Red Fox UK Community Forums, in your signature or send the link through private messages or email to other community forum members. Anyone that does this may be removed from the affiliate program immediately without notice. This rule applies to all affiliate program links, not just the Red Fox UK programs.

Garble Forum
The Garble forum is where community forum members can gather to chat about almost anything, technical or non-technical in nature.

Jokes and Stories Forum
The following rules apply to the Jokes and Stories Garble sub forum:

• Community forum members are reminded to surround adult/explicit content in the ADULT vbCode tag.
• If applicable, the end punchline of any posted joke should be surrounded in the PUNCHLINE vbCode tag.
• Readers of threads in this forum and kindly asked to leave a quick rating for the posted content, this is done using the "Rate Thread" dropdown at the top of the topic.
• When replying to threads in this forum, previous posts should not be quoted.
• Multiple jokes in any one thread are not allowed, each one should be placed in their own thread with the exclusion of batches of Q/A jokes or one-liner jokes.
