    Default DotNetNuke Support

Is DotNetNuke 3.2 (.net 1.1) running fine here?
Can anyone show a working website?
Otherwise, is it possible to test a clean install somewhere?

I'd like to be sure that DNN websites are compatible with Red Fox servers b4 sending money.
    Thanks for your help.

For the most part DNN will run fine, however you have to be aware that typically people purchase 'shared Webspace' from RFH which in turn means that you don't get a static IP Address and hence can't host multiple portals in the form 'portal1.domain.tld' or 'portal2.domain.tld'. RFH allows you to buy a static IP Address seperately which would then allow this functionality.

DNN should however, allow you to use multiple portals by using 'fqdn.domain.tld/portal1' or 'fqdn.domain.tld/portal2'.

RFH servers also run in Medium Trust and hence some third-party modules don't work correctly. Most of these modules can be corrected to work if you have the source. Warren is also quite good, and should this be a problem he may install the Modules assembly in the Global Assembly Cache which in turn would allow it to run in Full Trust (this of course requires the module to be compiled with a strong name key).

If you do run into any problems hosting DNN sites, there are a few of us who would be able to help you out.

I thought Domain Aliases solved that?

It would but all the mails will go to the hosted domain. Which is ok if the portals are related to the hosted site. A bit more of a problem if the sites are unrelated.

Remember that DNN Version 4, that is designed for .Net 2 does not work in Medium Trust. However, DNN Version 3 does.

Also remember that as Sol has said, some 3rd Party modules may not work in Medium Trust.
