    Default Backup MX

    Warren,

Thanks for letting us know about the Backup MX being enabled via another thread.

However, I want to know if it will be possible for us to provide this Backup MX service to clients who host their own mail server?

    ie. DNS Entries would be:

    @ IN MX 10 customer.mailserver.ipaddress
    @ IN MX 20 mail.potassium.lon.periodicnetwork.com.

Yes - you can just add the MX record with a higher priority (the backup mailserver will forward to the lower priority MX record), this will be detailed in a mailshot once everything is complete.
