    Default phpMyAdmin via https?

I've been using phpMyAdmin to get my database dumped as a zip file.

Is there a more secure way to do this?
I can't seem to access phpMyAdmin via https, only via http - am I doing something wrong?

HTTPS access to the database adminstration software isn't enabled at the moment - though you can use the backup feature in My Red Fox Hosting.

Excellent. I can backup my database and download it via SFTP.
    Thank you.
