    Default Paypal Control

I have been playing with the Paypal SDK but have hit an issue.

I want to make life easy by using a Server Control and Paypal offer a nice one that seems to do the job... that is until I upload it to RFH when it fails with a security error.

Clearly it doesnt work in a Medium Trust environment. I have scoured the Paypal forums but there doesnt appear an answer. Lodas of people are haveing the same trouble where their host has tied down the Trusting.

Does anyone know another Suitable Server Control which will allow me to add a simple 'Buy Now' Button?

    Thanks.

You can use the Paypal shopping basket in that case.

    Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately the Paypal shopping basket is too limited for what I am needing.

I managed to get around this by scrapping the buy now control idea and using a custom control to allow me to have nested forms and therefore have the asp.net form and Paypal form on the same page. I just build the paypal form dynamically.

It works great. Shame I cant get the IPN working now

This has been one of those projects!

Yeah I know the feeling - I'm currently dealing with a larger "one of those projects" at the moment in the form of a very well known large toy retailer! E-Commerce just sucks so horribly - no standards anywhere.

Launch the dissasembler from the menu in Reflector - really handy!
