Firefox and vBulletin ...

Nearly every time I access this forum using Firefox I have to log in again even though I've got the save password ticked and rememberd my login details in Firefox too.

Anyone else had similar problems? or is it just me?
I'm running Win XP Pro and Firefox 1.0.7
With IE 6.0.29 I get logged in everytime, just don't use it all the time.

Any Ideas?

I use SeaMonkey (Mozilla Suite) and never had a problem with vBulletin forums.

In the password manager, make sure redfoxhosting.com is not in the 'passwords never saved' tab.

I'm using Firefox 1.5x and was using the version that you are. I've never had a problem though

Hmm well my old verision of FF was obviously checking for updates in the wrong place. Just upgraded to 1.5, and no login required so far let's see how it goes.

Hmm, don't seem to be able to do 1.5 at all on this box (although I have it on my laptop and Pip's Win 2K PC has it...). Suse don't have it in thier online updates and my attempts at mozilla/firefox's own fail. Seems to be part of a general joy I have with running the x86_64 version and not knowing enough... That said, 1.0.7 works well enough for me (except I can't do flash) as the PC does for most of my general needs (this one is my tv, my development PC if I dabble with code, togehter with test mySQL dbs & Apache, my word processor, games like Super Tux I've been playng lately, read RFH forums or whatever else takes my fancy box).
