    Default weird issue

I finished developing a website for a client. I've upped the different database tables.
I currently disabled all membership, roles and I will implement these when mssql 2005 will be available.

So currently I'm using mssql 2000 for my costum made tables.
I've setup a a secured folder through HELM for the admin side of the website.

Everything works well but on the admin side on one page I have an issue:

the page allows the user to enter product information and also add a picture to the product information.
Upload the picture uses the upload component. it stores the pictures in /productimages folder.

Locally it works well but when I want to test it out on the server, I get a popup asking me for a login.
I tried the username and password I added in HELM for the ADMIN folder but that doesn't work.
    I don't get it

    any idea's

    thank you

Does it work when you removed the secured folder?

Have you assigned the user to the folder? A mistake I've made before now is to create the secure folder, create the user and pass but not assigned the user to the folder so the login isn't accepted!!

    sorry about my late reply...

@warren: no it does not work with the secured folder removed.
    I don't get it.

@Glynn thanks for the tip but I did it right. it's not the secured folder that is giving me problems but the uploading itself.

Yes, did you read the warning on the FrontPage Extensions installation page?

You will need to delete the domain and re add it in order to restore its permissions.

    A darn!
I knew it ! frontpage and all the troubles!

I tried to install the extensions since VS can use them
but I decided not to go for it after all...

so If I delete the domain, will it also delete the database, email accounts and so on ?

If you contact support I will reset the permissions, but the whole purpose of the FrontPage warning is to ensure this doesnt happen so if customers reading this are in the same position, please note that we may not manually correct the problem for you and you WILL need to delete the domain.
