Personally, I'd prefer it if Red Fox concentrated on providing rock solid hosting instead of useless stuff like this.

The External News took five minutes to implement - hardly a drain on Red Fox resources.

If people want news they'll go to a news site.

Its vBulletin that automatically downloads news and posts it, Red Fox Robot is just made up, to display as the "virtual poster" of the news.

Kills two birds with one stone? while coming here instead of having to go else where for news you can nab it here? i think its a nice feature myself.. i see it on many forums / websites that arent intentionally news sites and its a nice successfull feature. If you dont like it you dont have to read it

Ahh right nice, thats a funky feature indeed that is. Pitty its not an external feature from VBulletin.

If you dont want news, dont go in the External News forum, simple as that

I know itll save time in my day because insted of scanning the web for latest tech. news, I can quickly check that forum whilst answering customer posts at the same time.
