    Default Need to stop Hotlinking

    Hey there,
Recently someone mailed me about an other website stealing my website's content. Now, it's not that I dont mind about the content itself, but that website even hotlinked my images & etc. and that's just taking my bandwidth. I tried running a search at Google on how to stop hotlinking and came with a few .htaccess guides who didn't seem to work (well, they did work, it's just that my website couldn't use the pictures either).
Any solution to the problem is welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

    Best regards,
    Ram 'Soul' Sayeg.

The only sure way that I know of is to store your images outside of the web root and use a script to load them into the pages at runtime. You can add all the logic you want to this script to have a lot of control.

I found the guide Wise Web posted to be quite helpful. Hopefully that'll stop any future attempts. Thank you both!
