    Default Client Content Management

    Hi
I'm on the verge of upgrading my account to reseller as I've had some enquiries about build and host.

My question is regarding CMS and the ability for clients to edit their own sites once posted.

What low-cost, simple to use exist and work well with the RedFox reseller package of apps?

I've checked out WebYep and Tempre and they seem reasonable. Whatever I use will need to be cross platform browsing as I'll have a mix of Windows and Mac clients.

    Any ideas/thoughts will be appreciated.
    Cheers

The biggest problem is probably choice, and it's hard to reccomend one particular thing as much of it depends upon your own personal preferences and requirements. You might want to check opensourcecms.com for some php/mysql options.
I've tried quite a few systems on RF and not had problems. Though if there are minor ones, I can certainly help you to get round them on the php side. Most things are designed for Apache on Linux, and then "oh we better try and make it work with IIS too", but my experience has gladly found this not to be a problem in 95% of cases, helped by RF being such an accomodating and well managed host.

    Default Cms

Nick, many thanks for the link to openCMS, a really great resource, and as you say, it's choice that's the major headache. I've browsed a few and the likes of Mambo seems to fit what I'll be looking for as it's a WYSWYG interface.

Will dip in again when I've more time, but agin, thanks - appreciate your help.
    Mark
