PDF to JPEG/PNG?

I have a script that converts a form to a pdf file that will be stored on the server. As end users may want to look back through a list of pdf's that have been created for them I'd like to be able to create an image of the first page of the PDF documents stored on the server.

Does anyone know of any scripts that allow you to do this? I have found quite a few batch converters but I they are all windows applications.

Thanks for the link - I think there may be some Adobe licensing issues with that example but it did lead me onto

which looks like it might do the job.

Not sure if I can run it on Red Fox's servers but will try it on my home one first anyway!

No worries was not sure if it would be of any use. But remembered that I had read an artical on codeproject that did was you was asking. At least it gave a pointer.
