    If you didnt need the unique email addresses, you could have just added them as domain aliases to multisite.com - the option left is to use a static/private IP on multisite.com and point the WWW and @ A DNS records of site1.com and site2.com to this static IP.

    Static IPs can be purchased and provided in Helm, in the SSL Certificate Manager (create a Self Signed CSR, and assign it to the domain).

    Yes, you need to assign it to get the IP Address.

    The @ A Record controls what IP http://domain.com resolves to (no www).
