index.html not loading

I've been asked to look at this. This has been setup and it is very simple but on the face of it i can't seem to find what the problem is.

The index.html file has been created and is tored in the wwwroot folder. this file works locally. When you go to the domain it comes up with...

the domain/index.html/index.html/index.html/index.html/index.html/index.html/index.html etc.

any thoughts on what it could be?

I've sorted this now. The 'Home > Domains > Package > mydomain.co.uk > Web Site Settings > Web Forwarding URL: was set wrong'
