    Default Exporting Excel Incoice file

    Hey,

I have tried clicking on the Export link in the invoice reporting section of helm and get an error saying that Excel cannot find the link. Have tried saving to hard drive and get the same result. Strange that I got the same error with my other hosts Secure Mate.

    Ideas?

    Kenny

    Working fine here?

When you open the saved file in something like notepad, what do you see?

I've always found those excel reports save as .asp files and actually contain html. Even so, you can import them into excel (or just change the file extension to xls and it works itself out.
Not sure if this is a different problem to yours. What web browser are you using, because maybe you could try another?

have you tried different browsers. Does the same problem happen in all browsers. Do you get the option to save or open. Choosing save works better than open.

    Hi,

I re-installed Excel and this seems to have fixed the problem, although it opened local excel files I tried with another online exel file and I got the same error - thanks for you help.
