    Default How's this for news

I just had a call from my wife to say that a police car out side our house has just called for a bomb disposal team. Our neighbour has just discovered a grenade in their garden (with the pin still in it).

Don't they usually evac nearby surroundings for situations like this?

I'm not sure if they do or not. I believe being outdoors can be more dangerous as you can get hit by falling debris from the explosion. Better to be indoors away from the windows perhaps?

I doubt a standard grenade would do much damage to a building anyway. Certainly a lot less than it would do to a person.
