Has anyone profiled a sql server 2005 database. If so what edition client tools did you install - the profiler does not seem to be available with work group edition.

Has anyone profiled a sql server 2005 database. If so what edition client tools did you install - the profiler does not seem to be available with work group edition.

Unfortunately I can't tell you what versions of SQL support the Profiler as I have never had any issues (I have the Enteprise version). However, one issue you might be having is that the Profiler requires the ALTER TRACE permission.
