DNN and XMod: exporting fails

Does anyone else run DNN with XMod on RFH?

My former installation (XMod DLL Version: 4.7.5.0 (DNN 4.3+ .NET 2)) worked fine, except for one issue: being unable to export my forms and templates (using the Administration option), it gave me the following error:

Access to the path 'D:\mysite.com\wwwroot\web\Portals\0\XModDataExpor t_XML_20070723_142030.xml' is denied.
STACK TRACE: at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode) at KnowBetter.XMod.AdminSettings.ExportFormData()

Yesterday, I upgraded to the latest version of XMod (5.0) which doesn't export either, so I guess the problem is still the same (it didn't give me an error message, but just 'sleeps' in the exporting window displaying '0.0% exported').

From the error message, you would expect a problem with access permissions, but I find that hard to believe. Could this be related to the Full Trust/Medium Trust discussion (XMod is updated to run in Medium Trust now, and except for this issue, it works perfectly)?

Any ideas?

Not used XMod. However, I believe that it could be to do with the Trust issue as us think. Without a copy of the code, I would not be able to tell though.

Best thing I can suggest it to contact the module developer and see what they think.

Thanks. Yes, I did. He thought it was a permission issue, but I'm pretty sure all permissions are set correctly. So I hoped someone else on RFH is using XMod...

We've started to use it... and I kind of saw the exporting work! But the UI said it didn't work... so actually when we looked the xml files were there...

(did that help at all?)
