    Default www.aspspellcheck.com

    Hi Warren, RF staff,

I have been using AspSpellCheck in "Trial" mode (it doesn't seem to expire, but after a while starts to put an "annoying" msg up after each spell check) as it doesn't require any DLL's etc - just an include, the use of it is a breeze, and looks like it can be used in many, many situations/environments, not just for ASP...

I have to say for someone who updates the content of our site on a fairly regular basis and get sick and tired of seeing **MY** spelling mistakes and going back and correcting them, this produt has been and is simple, yet brilliant.

Have RF got anything like this? If not, would you consider purchasing it for use on RF servers?

    Regards,

    Martin - www.jigsawsrus.com

If you use Firefox to update your site, installing the British English Dictionary will add spell checking to all text areas in your site update forms (as well as everything else - including forums).

It works much like the spell check in Word, underlining misspelt words in red.

Maybe someone should tell that nice fella Mr Gates at Microsoft then :-)

Ps. Thanks (I'd still like Warren to consider it though as we, and I would guess 99.9% of our customers use IE!)

Not sure how it works, but couldn't you just grab the Single Website licence for your site?

    Hi Warren,

Of course I could, I just thought you might like to pay for it :-)

Seriously, I raised it here because I guess there was a bit of that in it, but also, I just wondered if anyone else hosting with RF would make use of it..... i'll leave it a week or so and if no-one else is interested I'll break open the kiddies Piggy Bank and count the coppers up :-)

Sorry, I though it was just to correct your own spellings when you update the site!

BTW, there is an extension for IE too - ieSpell

Sounds fair, if anybody else is interested then we can get a site licence for it.

Warren, just to put your mind at rest in case you felt pressured into looking out for my kids financial interests......

There's no way I'd raid the kids coppers to pay for a license..........I'd take their £10 notes instead - I'm not carrying all those crappy coins to the bank!
