Default How to send mail with MX pointing to external server?

    Hi,

One of my customers has his own mail server, so I have to create and set the related A/MX records of his domain to point to this server. I also have to delete all POP3 mailboxes/forwarders/MRA settings as explained in:

    http://forums.redfoxuk.com/showthread.php?t=4645

This customer also has a newsletter application (hosted at RFH). This application is using localhost to send the e-mails.

    My question:

From experience I learned that the From or To address which is used for sending via localhost, should be a POP3 account (to prevent abuse). Not having any POP3 accounts on this domain (nor having the ability to add them), how can I make this work?

    Thanks,
    Jaro

    Hello Jaro,
It doesn't matter about that, the localhost mail server doesn't check.
