Default Microsoft Chart Controls for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5

I have been playing with these new Charting Controls on my local machine and wondered if they are supported by Red Fox?

    Tried that

Parser Error Message: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web.DataVisualization, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Which assembly does 'System.Web.DataVisualization' come from?

Warren, would need to run the MSChart.exe installer on the web server.

Yeah I realised that as well, thanks for the response though. I know this is being incorporated in the .net framework 4.0. Do you think it would be possible to run the exe file on the box or would this be a strict no-no?

Perfect timing on the question darren

I've been playing with them too - it's a fab control - and I'm just about to try getting something working on a server (KRYPTON).

What are our chances of getting it installed, Warren?

    (fingers crossed)

I agree it is an incredible control, I was looking at using Dundas but the price put me off and then i found out that Microsoft bought aquired some of their techonology. Just hope that we can get this running on the web server.

BTW. It was not me that placed the post on the Microsoft forum although i suspect there will be lots of people out there in a similar position.

Agreed - I've just spent a week coding chart after chart after chart - fab - powerful and easy.

I've just tried installing the DLLs through FTP - no good - same security issue, so looks like the only way is via mschart.exe - hope we can get it installed.
