Credit help..?

I have bought hosting and domain name, and I'm just wondering about the 'add credit' feature.

I added £15 to my credit balance. Does this mean that £15 has already been taken out of my bank? Or does it mean that it will be taken out when its payment day?

If your account is in credit it means you have paid money to us and that credit will be used against any future invoices.

Some customers who pay manually each month like to keep their account in credit if they won't be able to arrange a payment when their next invoice is due.

However, the most normal scenario is to have a zero account balance and a payment method on record - that way any future invoices will be paid automatically paid on their due date via that payment method.
