    Default Cubecart email problem

I'm hoping someone here can help me, as nobody on the cubecart forum has replied!

On a client's shop, when it send out emails (in plain text), where there should be a £ symbol, it comes out with a circumflexed A preceding it - £

I think it's a charset issue, but as far as I can see, everything is set to UTF-8.

    Any ideas please???

    Cheers

    Pete

    These can be tricky.

If the email text comes from a file - Check that is saved as utf-8

The currency is pulled from a database, where the collation for the relevant table is set to utf8_unicode_ci.
