Hi Ed,
You need to use port 587 as the alternate port. Smarter mail can only support one alternative port and 366 got dropped.

Keith
Double messages are most likely the result of the "message already retrieved"-flag (I'm not sure if there's an 'official' term for this) that couldn't be migrated to the new mail system. So, all messages in the mailbox on the server will be retrieved again, if I'm not mistaken.
Don't see how it can be a downloaded flag - otherwise you could not download via multiple clients - the client needs to decide whether it has been downloaded or not - my guess is that the messages have taken on a new ID that now looks different and the client does not recognise that it has already downloaded it.
Warren was going to look to manage that. I would have preferred advance notice if that wasn't possible and I would have cleared down the legacy mail on RFH as much as possible before migration.

Hi there,
I think my mailbox my have migrated but I am missing emails from the 11/11/09 -> 30/1/10
is there also an issue sending to hotmail accounts again?
All mine where there when I got up this morning.
Just chill
Hi Keith,
Thanks for that, I know my previous post stated 586, but I had meant to type 587 - I'd best get some new fingers!
Neither 587 or 366 appeared to be working this morning from one of my clients sites (they had some clients configured on both). Luckily they have recently changed ISP and no longer have a block on port 25 so I have moved them to the default port.
Well, looks like the migration is complete as I received several hundred duplicate messages today! Did everything go to plan Warren? Anything we need to configure, know about the new system etc?
