Default mutlisite option for WP 3.1?

Hi, I was wondering about enabling the multi-site capability of WordPress 3.1 ... I see elsewhere that it may not be possible (or tricky) to do the necessary server setup to get this to work on RFH. It needs wildcard subdomain setting (see here).

I was looking at this thread which helped a bit but can someone update me on this ... what do I need to do/buy to operate a multi-site WP installation on RFH?

By the way ... what I want to achieve is a main site (mysite.org) and a subdomain site (subdomain.mysite.org) running off same WP install.

All you would need to achieve this is a dedicated IP address setup for the main website (£15.00 + VAT one time cost) and then simply create a "*" (or "subdomain") DNS record on the main domain to point at this IP address.
